Last Monday night mailboxes were broken into along E. Mesquite Avenue. A man was recorded tampering with a mailbox along the street at 9:30pm Monday evening. Below is a series of screenshots from that video. Click on a photo to enlarge it then click on the left or right edge to move through the series.
If you recognize the person please inform the police or contact me at:
Work at the Cameron Project resumed yesterday. I have asked for and await a revised estimate as to when we might expect buildings to begin appearing at the site. Will let you know when I do.
Out for a stroll with the dog, we passed Le Vallauris restaurant, at one time reputed to be the best in Palm Springs, but if so, we wondered what was going on with the tarpaulin over the roof and the barbed wire and peeling metal of the sign, something one might expect to see in DHS, not The Historic Tennis District.
ADDENDUM: Looks like I may well have overstepped the mark in my observations which it appears were both ill-informed and wrong - see comments below. I shall revisit the restaurant and write something more soon. In the meantime thank you to the commenter for correcting me.
Ever wanted to own an eight bedroom hotel? No, me neither. Takes all sorts to make a world though so maybe there's someone out there...
